Dr. Lindsay Evans (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Psychologist who provides therapy, psychological evaluations, and consultation services. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Dr. Evans earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Princeton University and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University.

 

She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Baylor College of Medicine and postdoctoral training at the Austin Psychology & Assessment Center (APACenter). During her clinical training, she worked with children, adolescents, and young adults with a range of emotional and behavioral concerns in outpatient settings, school and university clinics, and intensive treatment programs. She has also served as a clinical supervisor for postdoctoral residents and practicum students.

Dr. Evans has training in evidence-based therapies to treat anxiety (such as generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and anxiety related to achievement), depression, ADHD, and behavior problems. She has a background in working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD), conducting comprehensive evaluations, and she has a thorough understanding of special education and Section 504 services and accommodations.
