Claudia Reino Santamaría, BA (She/Her/Ella) is a current doctoral student in her 4th year at The University of Texas at Austin with a specialization in school psychology and a focus in diverse clients. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and specializes in psychological assessment services for children, adolescents, and young adults.

 

Throughout her academic career, Claudia has gained extensive experience working with clients from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and she has developed a strong foundation in the field and a passion for working with diverse populations. Claudia is committed to serving underserved communities and creating a safe space for all individuals seeking support.

 

Claudia’s expertise extends to psychotherapy and psychological assessment, and she has received training in a wide range of assessment techniques and areas, including cognitive, achievement, behavioral, and diagnostic assessment. She is skilled in administering, scoring, and interpreting assessments, and is committed to providing comprehensive, accurate, and culturally sensitive assessments to all clients. Claudia has 3 years of experience serving families in the Austin area, including in various elementary and middle schools as a school psychologist in training providing assessment and counseling services; in private practice in the Austin area providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults; as well as at the Dell Seton Medical Center providing consultation services.

 

Fluent in Spanish and Galician, as well as an advanced conversational level of Portuguese, Claudia has experience providing bilingual psychological services to clients. Her practice is informed by culturally-responsive, evidence-based, and client-centered care.
